Inflammation is a natural response of the body to fight infection or injury. After completion of its job, inflammation should resolve. However, in several disorders, such as asthma, cardiovascular disease, or arthritis, this inflammation process does not resolve adequately. Therefore, improvement or healing does not occur.

One of the mechanisms may be the underlying deficiency of certain chemicals called “specialized pro-resolving mediators “ or SPMs. It has been shown that externally supplied SPMs could result in appropriate and desired healing effects but without the side effects of the commonly used anti-inflammatory medications.

ProMediators is a combination of three highly potent “specialized pro-resolving mediators” designed to help support the body’s natural ability to respond to physical challenges and “resolve” the initial steps in the natural inflammatory process.
